Timer Options
The timer feature allows you to control how long website visitors have to make a purchase after they have started the process. The timer starts when a visitor clicks on the “Reserve Tickets” button, and will run until either the timer expires, the visitor closes the booking window, or the purchase is completed. If the timer expires or the booking window is closed, the reserved tickets are released for others to purchase.
The timer is displayed to the visitor on all booking pages so they know how long they have left.
Set Timer Length
Specify the amount of time visitors have to complete their purchase in minutes. Default value is 5 minutes.
Clear all Current Sessions
This will end all purchases which are ongoing, and return all reserved tickets to the pool of available tickets for purchase. This is equivalent to the timers for all users on your site expiring immediately.
Use this with caution as it may interrupt visitors in the process of making a purchase. It is intended to be used in the event that an error of some kind has caused a session to become broken – holding tickets in reserve forever, if such a thing happens, this option will ensure that they are released.
